Hello all!  I've been knitting a lot of stuff for people and thought I'd share with you guys.

Again, I can't seem to get in the habit of posting my things. I must work on that...

So what I have to show you isn't exactly an art project, but more of a way I became more organized. It's kind of an art project though... Just take a look. Maybe it'll help you too. :) It has helped me brainstorm for our Secret Santa exchange since I was so at a loss of what to do. I grabbed my book and looked through it during my lunch break at work. Very handy this is indeed.

Thanks for looking!

its been a while since i had the time to sit behind my sewing machine, but i was off today and had this idea stirring around in my brain, so i went for it.

in the summertime i wear a lot of dresses, which leave no pockets for my phone. this is a problem when i decide not to take my purse out, which happens often because its big and bulky, so i came up with this idea instead. i realize that its not a new idea, but i did this without a tut or any of that, i just kind of created a pattern as i went.

its far from perfect, but its definitely useable, and a pretty good start, i think.

the pictures are a hoot! )

Remember pogs? On one of my adventures, I came across a huge stash of pogs. I know I loved playing them as a kid, and then our school banned them : ( because they said it encouraged gambling, but it was fun while it lasted. Lately, I have nostalgia for 90s style and whipped these up, I have many many many more...

Good evening crafty laaadies, and to those of you who are gentleman! I made some more runesets this weekend, this time on different colored abalone shells. For those of you who don't know what runesets are: Elder Futhark runes are the oldest form of the runic system. Used between the 2nd and 8th century, they were widely used among traders as an alphabet. They were eventually adopted into a form of divination, and still widely used today in that way, especially among pagans.

Basically, they were tarot cards before tarot cards were tarot cards

This first set is my favorite so far, as it is a mix of different colors:
