Stitches is a fiber art convention that happens every year. The stitches I go to is held in Shaumburg, IL. It was this weekend and was a complete blast.

Here's my haul, Including my new ladybug spinning wheel!!!! :))))))
Also pictured are  tusseh silk roving, 50/30 blend merino & tencel roving, 70/30 blend of alpaca & silk roving, bamboo silk/merino wool roving, angelina/firestar/merino roving, some yarn for a mitten, hat, scarf project, yak fiber, 2 lbs of BFL roving that came with my wheel, and and hanging from my wheel is a 50/50 cashmere bombyx slk blend. Oh the colors... The beautiful colors.

I love Adventure Time. I think it's a hilarious show, and my niece and I watch it together.

Anyways, I liked keeping busy with projects since I'm disabled and I have a lot of time on my hands. I always enjoy sewing, even though I'm new to it.

Unfortunately, my digital camera is broken at the moment. I'm having a lens issue and I have to take it to a camera shop, so I took a picture with my crappy webcam.

I used white velour fleece because it's soft and stretchy, and after I sewed it, I hemmed the edges for a nice, clean look. Overall, I'm super happy with it. I just need to get velcro to close the chin straps.
