SFTO - question
Jul. 12th, 2008 11:34 pmI think we just need to start using the acronym SFTO...I always feel weird saying "Sorry for text only!" because, well, text is fun too. I like writing, I like reading, ergo I like text. It would be an interesting modern-art-ish experiment to do a large blogging site that contained only pictures and no text, but in the mean time...there's nothing wrong with a little text post.
I have a question...
Has anyone found a crafty solution to all of those cords people accumulate? Right now, I have a cell charger, three mp3-to-computer cords (why 3? long story), two camera-to-computer cords, one camera-to-tv cord, several spare ethernet cables...
I don't have a lot of desk or wall space, so I'm not sure that a rack would be the best solution, but I'm not sure about anything else?
1) Small strips of fabric with velcro? So I could roll the cords up and put the strip around them? Then I could just toss them in a basket or a drawer. I could even embroider the strips with the names of cords they are meant to hold...
2) Something similar to those makeup/paintbrushes/whatever caddies? You know, those things that look about like a rectangle, with straps or pockets all along one side, then you put your makeup/paintbrushes/etc in it and roll it up? Again, I would be folding the cords up. (Do those caddies generally have interfacing, and if so, what weight/kind?)
3) Any other ideas?
