than to complain about the darkness!


the flower fabric is upholstery fabric i bought a hundred and five years ago for making a hobo bag, but my roommate has this really simple design i wanted to try and it was so easy i didn't need a pattern or anything. it's longer than it looks, and definitely big and strong enough to be a book bag. the straps/sides/bottom are all one piece except where i had a second cut out for the lining. i might put a flap over the top but i need to think about that one.
i'll probably also add embellishments like silver thread or whatever. i just wanted to get it mostly done on solstice proper.
