Baffled Take #2

Today I found myself bored and with a bunch of remnants and fat-quarters that needed to be used. I made four market bags! Completely lined, and three with pockets. I used the big, black one today right after it was finished and it held about 10 pounds with out any problem. The best part about it was that it stayed comfy too, even as I was walking home from the store!

 

I am having trouble with the center seam on the handles. There is a detail of the seam that I did (in black because I didn't change the thread). If these bags were for someone else, I wouldn't want this funny bumpy part. What can I do to fix this? I know that there are a few hand sewing techniques that would work... what do you all suggest?

PS: Sorry about the broken images earlier! These ones should work. I deleted the old folder by accident, and thus broke the address.

 

I'm not quite sure if this is a purse or a market bag like the others. It's a little bit shallow; next time I do one like this it will have to be deeper.


I love this fabric, and after taking it to the store and using it I love this bag! It has an internal pocket of the same black fabric.


This one has the funny seam. But it's still cute and has an internal pocket in the floral print!


I love this fabric! I didn't have enough of it to include a pocket on the inside though...
