I'm a crafting machine!

I've been doing a lot of crafting lately, so I thought I'd share. Lots and lots of images, but they're pretty small.

You might have seen my previous post with the plaques I made. I had such fun with them that I decided to make some more.

I used some stickers with inspirational sayings as the focus for this one. Acrylic paint, glitter, stickers, varnish. The ribbon came with the plaque.

Acrylic paint, varnish, rub-ons, glitter, stickers, and I used the inside of a coffee sleeve from Starbucks as a stamp to make the lines (I stole this idea from a scrapbooking magazine).

Acrylic paint, varnish, butterfly sticker, cardstock, rub-on, silver ribbon.

Moving on! These are the Valentine's mailboxes I made for my students this year. Tissue boxes, construction paper, stickers, and varnish.

This is the cover for a binder I'm using for all of the childrens' artwork/other mementos I've acquired over the years. Scrapbook paper, stickers.

I actually made this ages ago. It's a wall hanging with three pockets. Craft felt, embroidery floss, yarn.

Here's a close-up of one of the pockets.

I've really been wanting to do some art journaling; this is my first attempt. I made it to motivate myself for my recent decision to go from semi- to lacto-ovo vegetarian. It's more informational than creative, which I felt more comfortable with for a first try. Board book, acrylic paint, stamps, and yes...varnish.

Just one more! This is a checkbook cover; a real trial-and-error experience! My measuring was way off, the button was not properly centered, the felt wasn't sturdy enough...I think it looks okay all things considered, and at least I know what not to do for next time ;) Fabric, embroidery floss, cardboard for frame, craft felt, button, stretch cord.

Thanks for looking!
