Old jeans
Hello, I have about ten pairs of jeans I can't wear anymore because of wearing and tearing on difficult places :/ It's a shame, since they still look newish on every other place but there. The tearing happens right at the crotch area, usually at the very inside of my upper inner thigh. The fabric is worn there, it's become very thin. My mother tried just stiching it shut, but that only holds for about a week.
Tips for fixing? Or crafty advice on what to do with the pants otherwise?
To prevent an all-text post;

So I tried the same technique I did on one of my previous post; baking the thing again after the paint job so that I could paint the eyes before adding the hair. Only this time, it didn't work out all that well :/ The coat of paint started sagging and chipping, really quite a shame (it now looks as if they're wrinkly, look between the blond's eyes :P) Although, I really like how the eyes turned out, so maybe I'll have to see if I can just paint the head and not the body. Or maybe I should add less coats of paint; maybe it got too heavy?
