Little felt dolls

A little Japanese doll I made for a swap.

Inspired by Rafael's "Lady With Unicorn" portrait (1505-6), my unicorn-less doll is very simple, but adorable, nonetheless. =)

Christine of Pisan was Europe's first professional female writer in the 14th-15th centuries. A real early feminist. =)
Here's my small homage to her work, inspired by this image of her presenting a book to Queen Isabeau of Bavaria.

I'm very happy with how this one turned out. =)
Inspired by Giambattista Moroni's "Portrait of a Lady" (Possibly Countessa Lucia Albani Avogadro) 1557-60.
I looooooooooove renaissance costumes. <3<3<3
