craftgrrl | Horse costume

I am typically not a crafty person. Sometimes I get a bee in my bonnet though. I made this at like two am for my horse to wear in a parade. No pattern, I couldn't even find my tape measure. I just eyed it, cut and sewed.

So here it is! Our theme is kind of medieval. I'll be in a goofy dress, so will the other riders.

My horse is Eric, a twelve year old American Saddlebred.

All started with this. All photos are crummy iPhone photos....

And went on to covers for my reins, and a breast collar cover and more crap added to all of it.

I'm wearing a dress that will cover the saddle and his rump or would have made a matching saddle cloth. Dress is long and black with gold trim.

Kind of amazed everything fit without measuring anything.

Also this is my hair. Any idea what I could do with it?
