Czech My Dad's Style
It's been a long time since I've put something together and shared. So here's my first post in a long, long time.
My dad got these Czech beads on one of his trips to Salisbury, England (I hope I spelled that right). He's caught the beading/jewelry bug and is doing some really nice work himself. But he used to be really chicken about going into bead shops. I guess he figured since he was in England and he didn't know anyone it would be okay to go into the shop.
So last Christmas he gave me the beads. Now, I have to tell you I'm OCD (literally, I'm diagnosed) and when I create my stuff has to be just. freaking. so. It's annoying really. So I strung up the beads where it was all spaced evenly and geometrically arranged. Dad comes along and redoes it! He just restrings the thing and it's all abstract and random! LOL
Anyway, I finally got around to putting them on a real wire and adding a clasp. I add the red tiny Czech beads to bring out the reds in some of the larger beads. I just love blue and red together.

And just cuz I'm proud of my dad, I'm tossing in a couple of photos of the pieces he's made. Ssshhhh - they're Christmas presents!
