Couple of Christmasy things :)

A few of you may remember this post ( http://craftgrrl.livejournal.com/13669901.html ) where I remade a couple ornaments... I only have a couple more things to post.


My nephews ornament (Desmond Jr). I made my sister one for herself, her hubby, and her baby :) I loveeeeee making these. I'm in the process of making one for every member of my family for my tree.



I couldn't find last years Christmas tree skirt, but I have a random drunken memory of the dog going after it... Maybe that's why it wasn't in the box of decor. But I was too cheap to go out and buy one for $15+ so I made one. Its not PERFECT but it was my first time making something like this from scratch and without a pattern. I just wanted to see if I could. Now that I know what to expect, I'm going to make another next year with amazingly awesome fabric.



Lastly, I made a Christmas tree feathered cone. Got the cones on sale at Michaels for 50 cents. I hate how the ribbon/rhinestones turned out. Going to buy some nice burgundy or black velvet ribbon next time Im at Michaels and replace that part. I have one more cone that I have NO CLUE what to do to it.. Maybe cover the whole thing in rhinestones...
