Is there a way to fix this?
Jul. 29th, 2003 10:54 pmThis isn't exactly a crafty thing, but I was wondering if there's any way for me to fix my dad's briefcase for him. He has this black leather briefcase that he's been using and to his horror, as he was coming home today, the handle fell apart! It just split down the middle! I was wondering if you guys know of an efficient (yet inexpensive way) of fixing it - would sewing it with a specific type of thread help? Or is something like duct-tape the only option left?
He has this other little thing that will cover up the handle once it is fixed, so we're not worried about how the briefcase will look, but I was just wondering if there was anything I can do to help him out. He might want to get a new briefcase, but even a temporary solution may not hurt.
