stripey legwarmers

I bought some very texturey cotton yarn, divided it into twelve sections (no easy task!), dyed it the colors I wanted (light blue, mid blue, orange, red, sage green, yellow, pink, burgundy, red, baby blue, pale green, dark blue) with various mixes of Rit liquid dye I had on hand, hung the yarn out to dry (it was quite a sight in the laundry room), and crocheted these, using a half double crochet stitch.
