I got really bored today so i made this, it's 3d and out of seed beads and wire. i think i'm gonna make another leaf and string them in a line and add a black ribbon and make it a choker. it's smaller than it looks..only about an inch or so across. and it's sparklyer than in the crappy picture. but i'm excited.

don't know how to make a cut so i'm sorry for the load time...and i cross posted because i'm way excited.
thnx guys

I feel dumb
So,after all that time,I went back and closely inspected the area where the bobbin fits in.Tiny little slit.Thread has to go through there.Im a dumbass :P I did make a nifty camoflauge bikini bra though! To bad its a tad to small.Im going to stop wearing regular bras(yay for smaller boobs) and make the bikini bras. They're hotter.

I just joined this community and it's great! I really needed a wallet, and after seeing some of the great ones you guys have made, I went at it. Target only had silver duct tape, though (I wanted red, and the black was really expensive).

Has anyone ever made photo ornaments before? I'm looking to make something a bit more sturdy than just a photo glued onto some paper, yet don't really like those glass balls too much-- too thin. Any ideas??

Yay! I got a photo back from my Samhain party last night, when I made out all horrorshow..

The eyes were lots of fun to make, and everyone wanted a grope of my codpiece. LOL To be fair, I neglected the suspenders that should be a part of the outfit, but otherwise I figure it went pretty well for my first costume.

hi.

i like sowing stuff. it takes a long time. and more than likely, i am doing it completely wrong in whatever standard way there is.

i would very much like to make my own shirts and especially my own jeans and pants. i have some really awesome ideas for shirts using two tones and rockin designs and all that funstuff. jeans...i just want to make all my old jeans fit better, instead of donating them.
with that in mind, i should probably get a sowing machine, but uh, that is one scary contraption. and if i could do it by hand, i'd have bragging rights to the forever.

is this possible?

should i take classes on this stuff?

I had some socks that had holes in so I made wrist band things but decided they were too plain so I added lyrics. I used fabric paint for the first time and the cracking is due to the fact that I put them on and it pulled the paint a little too much...

Has anyone here ever had a problem with RIT dye not coming out of their washing machine? I am about to dye some drapes to a navy blue, but I'm a little skeered about the dye lingering and dyeing my clothes.

Hey XD

I'm new, just went to my friends friends page and joined a few communities that I thought would be interesting :)

Anyways I'm a really crafy person but I'm not very good at making things, so I mostly joined to see if anybody posts any neat ideas ^^

I am helping organize a craft show....which will also feature hardcore bands later in the evening. I am trying to think of a name, and would love to her your ideas. Its a non-traditional craft show...As in hip younger stuff..handmade bags, funky stuffed animals, clothing etc.
I know there was the Renegade Craft fair, bizarre bazaar, and the punk rock flea market....
But im still stumped for a name.
Also crafty girls if you interested in selling your stuff there, or just coming...its going to be in Feb in Baltimore MD...You can find out more info at my website http://www.MyPaperCrane.com (there is a link on the front page).
anyhow thanks for any help :)

I finally finished my first crochet project. It's the first thing (besides a single chain used as a christmas tree decoration) that I've ever crocheted in my life! It's pink and lavendar and has a "Cotton Candy" patch on the front. (If you know who I am, I have this whole cotton candy thing...) Anyway... onto the photos!

My son, modeling the hat for me... Yes his head is as big as mine and he's only 2!!!!
