Yay, I'm so proud of myself. I have been knitting about a year? It took me a while to get the hang of it, but now I can knit a scarf or shall like no one's business, but knitting in the round made no sense to me. But FINALLY!

I know it's totally nerdy, but I was so proud of myself last night when it was done! And my son loves it. he was upset he couldn't wear it to school today lol.

This book is made from recycled, repurposed 7" vinyl records.

Both covers are reinforced with silver tone mini grommets and bound with deep plum violet waxed linen thread.

- The book is approximately 7" x 5". (17.5 x 13 cm)
- Text block is approximately 4.5" x 5.5". (13 x 11.5 cm)
- 160 pages.

Magazine Lined Mirror- Basically a Question with Pics

First off... let me know if this isn't allowed- since it is trying to copy something that is sold....

My friend found a mirror at Urban Outfitters that she really really liked but couldn't put that much money in a mirror. I told her it seemed easy to do... and now that I look at it, I'm not too sure of what I can do. 

The mirror is framed by rolled up bits of magazine (there are two pictures uner the cut). Has anyone done anything like this? If so, any suggestions orrr pictures? :)

and then my next question... I had an idea of using Modge Podge *sp*... but I've never used it before and the only way I've heard of it is because of this community. Would this be something you could use Modge Podge *sp* with?

A new design for me.

This is my very first attempt at adding more wire wrapping to my earring designs. Overall, I think they are OK, but I do see many little things/flaws that I would like to refine to make them nicer on my next try.

These earrings dangle 1.5 inches, and feature exquisitely faceted vintage crystals, a bit of frosted glass, and lots of copper. The ear wires are artist-made.



As I mentioned, I am new at this, so tell me what you REALLY think!!! Please?

I'm wondering if anyone has made any cool birthday cards lately?!

Every time someone who really means something to me has a birthday, my cards aren't that good.
But when it's someone kind of random, I get creative.
I'm not sure why that happens.
And my friend made me a really awesome Little Miss Sunshine van shaped one, so I think
I've ought to return the favor.
Btw he really likes the Office if anyone can incorporate that.
