This making presents lark is hard work. I've just finished the last of three bags, all linen toile lined with dupion silk.

Making plush cartoon characters...

My Dad asked me a favour this past summer; he asked if I could sew him a plush Road Runner (the cartoon bird). He's a huge RR fan, of both the cartoon and the car(he's had the same car for longer than I've been in the family!).

I've been looking up pictures online and am pretty sure I can figure out how to make the bird... except the head. I'm just not sure how to make a pattern for the head. I'm usually good at sort of 3D visualizations, and can make my own patterns for things, but this has me stumped.

Does anybody have experience with something similar? Or know of a pattern for an existing toy that I can use (even if it's not for the road runner; I could probably make it work?)
