art call!

a group of friends and i are opening an art gallery/eclectic items/books/experimental and underground music/allsortsofwonderfulthings shoppe. our projected opening date is nov. 21st, and our stock of merchandise is still rather sparse. we're a nonprofit organization; the proceeds from our gallerystore will go toward funding our art cooperative so we can do community initiatives: a vegan/organic free meal, free art supplies for homeless/low-income, free art worksops for at-risk kids, pertinent social issues demonstrations, independant printing press, subversive book/viseo lending library & anarchist infoshop....etc etc etc.

i would really really reallyverymuch like to have some of your chokers for sale there. they are superfantabulous!

if you're interested, we can do this two ways:
1. we consign your artbit. our normal fee is 20%, meaning you set the price and get 80% of that when it sells. we will also display your artist cards, business cards, whatnot for promotional purposes, and feature your work at one of our monthly art openings. the consignment fee is also open to negotiation.
2. you can donate us artbits to sell, we will love you forever, and you can use the final selling cost as a tax write-off. the money from the sale of the art will be used for aformentioned community initiatives.
