craftgrrl1 feather boa + white pajamas & hat + felt scraps + red pants and boots = CHICKEN!
It only took a few minutes to stitch the boa onto the pajamas and make the chicken hat, and my daughter had the best costume at the costume parade. Everyone wanted to know where I bought it, and if there had been a contest I know we would have won. As it was, the woman handing out the treat bags of candy gave us extra because Sym's costume was so good that she "deserved it". Go me. Maybe next year I will make her costume before October 30th and it will turn out really great.
