Help with crochet

Okay. I want to learn how to crochet. My grandmother taught me how to crochet a simple chain stitch (I don't know if that is the right terminology) when I was very little, so I can sew one row without problems. I want to learn how turn a corner and start a new line. I don't want to do anything fancy yet, I just want to be able to make two rows before I get into anything crazy! I wish I had learned this from my grandmother, but now I'm kinda wanting to learn this in tribute to her memory. I've looked online, but have found nothing that didn't confused me to no end. Can anyone help me?
