hey, i promise promise promise i'll post pictures when i'm done if someone can help me figure out how to do it!

i want to make my boyfriend a hat stand for all of his hats (right now they are all over the floor). i want to make it sit on his desk and then go up with spokes to hang hats on. now, i'm limited in the workshop, so how do you think i could go about doing it?

i was thinking a tall rectangle with them dowls just glued on - but would that be strong enough? any other ideas?
