Shameless giftwrap post :D
Dec. 10th, 2003 02:35 pmWrapping pressies is my favoooorriteee part of Christmas! Just thought I'd share some pictures of my home wrapping job this year...done in blues, silvers, and other various snowy colors.

Wrapping paper (One larger roll of snowman paper, which can be reversed and used as plain white also...and one cheap pack of 4 blues & silver papers. Each roll of those had very little on it, so it's not exactly a great deal to always buy your paper in variety packs!)
Ribbon (My biggest expense, I got one really nice wired blue plaid, a variety roll of blues & silver curlable, a roll of white and silver cord, and a neat snowball one. As with wrapping paper, be sure to check the length of ribbon you're getting on the roll...it's often deceiving and over priced!)
Decorative Add-ons (By far the most fun part of the gift, this is where you must search for good deals. I got a case of 20 ornamental balls in the right colors, made for a smaller tree, for $4 at Target. The glittery pine cone was $1, I got it for that special gift. I also got some blue candy canes to stick on the gifts, also cheap and festive!)
Other (Some Gift Wrap tape, which is wider than most normal scotch tape and available in your xmas wrap section. Also got some tinsely wire, which I curled on a pencil to add to the bows, etc. Tissue paper (white) is your best bet, as those decorative ones are overpriced and low in sheet count...I got 2 packs of it, and didn't even use all of 1. )
Total cost for all this wrapping around $30 or so, and wrapped about a dozen gifts. I've still got a ton of paper left...though I'm kinda outta ribbon. Oh well, it's not like I mind a trip back to the ribbon aisle! :D
Thanks for letting me share! :) *wave*
