Instructions for crocheting the bunny
Sorry, I've been busy so I haven't been able to put these up sooner. Here are the instructions for crocheting that cute bunny.
What you will need:
(1) Soft Pink yarn
(1) White Yarn
(1) Satin Ribbon, 3/8"
(1) Fiberloft Polyester Stuffing, 16 oz. bag
(1) Plastic Yarn Needle
(1) Crochet hook, Size F
Gauge: 9 sc and 9 rows = 2"
Note: Markers are used to help distinguish the beginning of each round being worked. Place a 2" scrap piece of yarn or fabric before the first stitch of each round, moving marker after each round is complete. Remove when no longer needed.
Head and Body
With White, ch 3 loosely; join with slip st to form a ring
Rnd 1 (Right side): 2 sc in each ch around; do not join, place marker: 6 sc.
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around: 12 sc.
Rnd 3: (Sc in next sc, 2 sc in nect sc) around: 18 sc.
Rnd 4: (Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around: 24 sc.
Rnds 5-9: Sc in each sc around.
Note: To decrease, pull up a loop in next 2 sc, YO and draw through all 3 loops on hook (counts as one sc).
Rnd 10: (Sc in nect 2 sc, decrease) around: 18 sc.
Rnd 11: (Sc in nect sc, decrease) around: 12 sc.
Rnds 12-13: Sc in each sc around.
Stuff head with polyester fiberfill.
Rnd 14: (Sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in nect sc) around: 15 sc.
Rnd 15: (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in nect sc) around: 18 sc.
Rnd 16: (Sc in nect 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around: 21 sc.
Rnd 17: (Sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around: 24 sc.
Rnds 18-22: Sc in each sc around.
Stuff body with polyester fiberfill.
Joining: Slip st in next sc, ch 1, flatten Rnd 22 with slip st at side; working through both loops of both thicknesses, sc in each sc across; do not finish off: 12 sc.
Left Leg
Rnd 1: Ch 1, turn; sc in Front Loop Only of first 6 sc, turn; sc in free loop of each sc across; do not join, place marker: 12 sc.
Rnds 2-11: Sc in each sc around.
Stuff Leg with polyester fiberfill.
Rnd 12: Decrease around: 6 sc.
Rnd 13: (Skip next sc, slip st in next sc) around; finish off: 3 sts.
Right Leg
Rnd 1: with back of Body facing and working in Front Loops Only, join White with slip st in first sc on Body; sc in each sc across, turn; sc in free loop of each sc across; do not join, place marker: 12 sc.
Rnds 2-13: work same as Left Leg.
Foot (make 2)
With White, ch 3 loosely; join with slip st to form a ring.
Rnd 1 (Right side): 2 sc in each ch around; do not join, place marker: 6 sc.
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around: 12 sc.
Rnd 3: (Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around: 16 sc.
Rnd 4: Sc in each sc around; slip st in next sc, finish off leaving a long end for sewing.
Arm (make 2)
With White, ch 3 loosely; join with slip st to form a ring.
Rnd 1 (Right side): 2 sc in each ch around; do not join, place marker: 6 sc.
Rnd 2: (Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around: 9 sc.
Rnds 3-14: Sc in each sc around.
Stuff arm with polyester fiberfill.
Joining: Decrease, slip st in next sc, flatten Rnd 14 with slip st at side; working through both loops of both thicknesses, sc in each sc across; finish off leaving a long end for sewing: 4 sc.
Ear (make 2)
Inner ear
Row 1 (right side): With Pink, ch 2, 2 sc in second ch from hook.
Rows 2-4: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across: 2 sc.
Row 5: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in first sc, sc in last sc: 3sc.
Rows 6-7: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.
Row 8: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in first sc, sc in last 2 sc: 4sc.
Rows 9-10: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.
Row 11: Ch 1, turn; decrease, sc in last 2 sc: 3 sc.
Row 12: Ch 1, turn; decrease, sc in last sc; finish off: 2 sc.
Back ear
With white, work same as Inner Ear; do not finish off.
Joining: With wrong sides together, Inner Ear facing, and working through both pieces, sc evenly across end of rows, 3 sc in free loop of beginning ch, sc evenly across end of rows; finish off leaving a long end for sewing.
Cheek (make 2)
With white, ch 3 loosely; join with slip st to form a ring.
Rnd 1 (right side): 2 sc in each ch around; do not join, place marker: 6 sc.
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around: 12 sc.
Rnd 3: Sc in each sc around; slip st in next sc, finish off leaving a long end for sewing.
Finishing
Stuff each Foot with polyester fiberfill and sew to Legs.
Sew Arms to side of body.
Sew Ears to top of Head, 1/2" apart.
Sew cheeks to Head, with edges touching, lightly stuffing with polyester fiberfill before closing.
Sew beads to Head for eyes.
With Pink, add Satin Stitch nose.
Attach a White 1-1/2" diameter pom-pom to Body for tail.
Add 4 straight stitches to each Arm and Foot according to picture.
Tie ribbon in a bow around next.
