Hope I'm not stepping out of bounds, but I thought anyone from the SE Michigan area on this community might also be interested in this:

I am starting a local group to get together on a regular basis (probably 1x a month) to have a crafty stitch-and-bitch type gathering. I'm quite inspired by the Church of Craft, I think it's a fabulous idea, and I'd like to see if we can get something along those lines going here in the SE Michigan area.

Hence, I have started a LJ community to serve as a sort of "bulletin board" to communicate information about the When/Where/Who/What/How's of the gatherings. If you are in the area and interested in attending, please join craftoomel for info. :)
