Wow!

I just finished the last day of school before break. I gave presents to my friends and to my teachers. To my surprise, THEY LOVED THEM. Like went crazy. I was like uhh.. you're welcome! (I guess I didn't expect such a reaction.)

Well anyway for my friends I made cute-functional gifts. All of my friends are taking chemistry this year so I made apron/goggle bags! Just a simple draw-string bag big enough for lab safety gear. Much easier to carry them. I also made marble magnets.. yes i know they are so popular here, but my friends arn't big crafters and they were AMAZED at them. I couldn't believe it. People kept asking "WOW HOW DID YOU MAKE THOSE". I just thought they would be cute for lockers.

for my teachers, I did 1 chocolate spoon, 4 chocolate pretzles, 1 chocolate (cherry-hershey kiss) mouse. I put them in the bottom part of your basic origami box and covered with celophane. My teachers reactions were similar to my friends'! I'll remember this in the future... Teachers love chocolate!

I guess its just simple things like "did you make this box!!! that is so cute!" It makes me feel really good about giving gifts like that.
