Record bowl idea...would this work?

craftgrrlAn idea strunk me (and it hurt)...I don't know if this would work in reality or not...
I am wanting to make a glittery album bowl for my niece. If I sprinkle glitter on the vinyl while it is still warm from the oven, will the glitter stick to the vinyl? Would it kinda "melt" into the vinyl? Would the glitter shake off if I don't use any sort of adhesive?
