I made this (http://www.geocities.com/electric_p1nk/bracelet.jpg) bracelet out of jacks, buttons, and beads for a friend awhile ago. I loved the way it turned out (so did she) so I decided to make some more. I used a doubled piece of elastic and just started adding beads and buttons. To attach the jacks, I used both pieces of elastic to tie knots around the things. I want to call them spokes, but that doesn't sound right. The pointy things.

When I finished, I just knotted the ends of the elastic together a few times. Would I be better off using something else besides elastic and using a jumpring and clasp to close it? What about the jacks, would there be a better way to attach them?

This has nothing to do with this post, but [livejournal.com profile] red_toe_nails, I emailed you on Friday (to bang_bags@hotmail.com) about the trade for one of your adorable bags, in case you didn't know.
