I am so happy.
I just went and ordered a beading loom today. Well one that is big enough to make bracelets and necklaces that is. I use to make bracelets out of them at my grandpa's house and they took forever to do. I have one that i made out of my name and it is in my scrap book.
Anyways my question is, for christmas I am attempting to make people around me gift baskets and such as I do not have too much money and what I do have, I want to spend on my nephews. So I got some recipes for soaps and lip balms and such. I am going ot buy most of the stuff to make stuff on Friday.
What is a good price to pay for 2 pounds of clear glycerin soap?
What do I use to dye the clear soap? I thought if I used liquid food coloring, that it would dye your hands when you washed them.
Also does anyone know of any cool beading loom pattern sites?
And several people I know already are interested in having me make them a necklace/bracelet out of the beading loom thing. What is a good price to charge?
How does everyone tie off the ends of the bracelets?

Oh yeah and as for the crocheting thing...lol...I am left handed and all the books show it right-handed so I basically taught myself wrong. I went to my moms house and was like *what am I doing wrong?* she told me that I was basically crocheting backwards...I laughed...but apparently it was coming out fine. She showed me how to hook the second and third rows. I was only hooking it through one loop instead of two (make sense to anyone???) but I felt so great when I finally realized how to crochet. It was pretty awesome, I was excited.
