1920's-30's Romance Film - Wooden Box Purse

I never really post alot of my projects on here too often, most of the time Im on here asking questions. I actually have alot of projects going on, I just never feel the desire to post them I guess, hehe. But this time, Im posting one of my more recent projects.

I made this purse from a plain wooden box that I had picked up from Michaels craft store. I put new hardware on it, made a very unique handle out of heart shape glass beads, other glass beads, metal beads, and silver wiring. I think the handle is the best part. Boy, was it hard finding the perfect beads to fit on the handle, and still match the box! I decoupaged the entire box with red, white, black & white stiped, and film strip tissue paper that I also picked up from Michael's. This was my first decoupage project, and it was a pain! On the one side I found a picture online of a 1920s-30's actress to print out and paste onto my box, and used red ribbon to border it. For the inside I first padded it with this fusable fleece stuff, the used red moster fur for the main interior, and black & white polka dot fabric for the border.
