The fruits of our labor
My son and I have been making soaps all evening and I figured I would post pics of our first batch (the second batch is still cooling).
First off, let me say that 10 lbs of glycerin is a LOT of glycerin! If you are just starting out in this, I suggest you buy a 2 lb block............unless you just KNOW you will love doing this so much that you will have no problems using all the glycerin. We made twice as much as the pics in this post and we have only gone through 1/4 of the container! So, here are the pics from our ventures today! Later, I will post pics of the rest.

I think we did pretty well considering it was our first shot! ~~~Keep in mind that these are for holiday gifts and most of our regular soaps will not be so highly decorated!~~~ Also, I was a goofball and shrink-wrapped the large soaps before I photographed them! Sorry about the poor images!
