(no subject)

hi ladieees. i know this might not be all too crafty, but i have a question! first of all, i have a ring that someone gave to me, it originally wasn't meant to be a ring.. so it's made out of some kind of metal that.. smells really metallicish. haha. the inside is also beginning to rust and to leave an orange residue on my finger. so i was wondering if there was anything i could do to make it stop rusting/get rid of the smell. here's what it looks like:
