tote bag idea
sorry for the no pic post :\
i have an idea for a tote bag but i'm wondering what would be the best way to go about it. i have an old smashing pumpkins shirt (my favorite band) and it's ruined on the sleeve from bleach. i want to salvage it by making a tote bag out of the front and back parts where there's pictures. so should i:
make my own tote bag by cutting out the pictures and sewing them to some kind of sturdy fabric (denim?) for a lining?
or
buy a cheap tote bag at the craft store and sew the images from the shirt onto the front and back?
or do you have a better idea?
