craftgrrl | Gallery Glass

i bought Gallery Glass (as seen here: http://www.plaidonline.com/apGG.asp) and the bottle do NOT come with any directions.
i tried to apply it, and it is a FAR cry from this "easy to do" thing.
it looks horrible and i have no clue what to do to make it look good.

anybody have any suggestions or have worked with this before? i'm really frustrated and feeling very let down.
