Tattoos for my organizers

So I bought these clear plastic organizers the othr day from Lillian Vernon. I tried to hot glue these lovely plastic butterflies to the fronts... that didn't work. I remembered a post from a few weeks ago that talked about using temporary tattoos for craft items. Will they work on my plastic organizers? That's my question and I'm sticking to it.
