I'm not sure if this has been addressed, but I wanted to be very clear. Legal issues is the last thing I need.
Lets say, I liked some image or some phrase..or like, I wanted to make a band t-shirt or whatever, cause I didnt want to dish out $30 for it. So I made my own. Maybe it looks just like the one that the place is selling. Maybe it's just a quote like (the reason this question came about "Say the F-word....Feminist!"..and I put it on my shirt or whatever.
Just for me. No selling or whatever.
What happens?
What about if you..copy a certain skirt? Like, you like the pattern and the design and you make one for yourself..Lawsuit?
The memories dealt mainly with actual commerce..so I'm not sure what happens if you just copy it? I mean, everyone knows what it is and what it's from..I just made it and didnt buy it.
