I made something!
Yeah, this is a big deal. :) I haven't been able to knit or crochet in years because of an old injury that just got worse and worse until I could hardly use my right arm. I started getting treatment for my back recently and I just finished a hat today. Yay! Now, I crocheted this with my left hand, but before I couldn't even use my right to hold the yarn.
I used this pattern: http://www.headhuggers.org/patterns/cpatt03.htm Super-easy and like usual I didn't follow it exactly. Thanks so much to whoever posted it first. :) I wasn't making it for anyone, I was just DYING to make SOMETHING! It's made of scrap Lopi that I got from my mom when she finished a huge blanket so I wouldn't be wasting anything if I sucked at left-hand crochet. When I finished it, my partner said, "Can I have it?" and gave me big-eyes so I couldn't say no. I put a tassle on it because apparently every hat needs one. :)
