Ok, I need some help here. I have to shorten a dress and fast - basically a hack and slash job that will look decent for a night. I can go back and get things done more neatly when I have time. I may or may not have access to a sewing machine (not sure yet) Does anyone have any suggestions? I'll have to cut the dress - there's too much fabric just to hem. Any and all suggestions are welcome.
