glue fumes and other things

If I were to use 'glass and plastic' glue on a glass candle holder (the ones that are about 3 inches high for those little scented candles), up at the top...do you think the flame would
a. do nothing
b. make the whole thing explode
c. make the glue melt and make the thing I plan on glueing drop off
?

I have this really neat idea, but I've never glued anything to a candle holder before
