w00t!
I finished my first crochet project yesterday. I made a loverly snuggly scarf for my mom for christmas. She thinks it's for my boss, heehee! I am in the process tonite of making a harry potter-esque scarf (maroon and gold/yellow) for my brother as a christmas gift. And I am going to attempt to make a hat for my cousin's 9-month old daughter for christmas. Too bad that I don't have a digital camera or webcam, or even a Poloroid that I could scan and upload on my non-exsistent webspace so I could share with all of you. I am extremely proud of myself. I learned to crochet (chain, and single and double crochet) this summer, and then didn't do any crocheting for 3 months. This community has revamped my resolve to be more crafty.
I also made some of the marble magnets, they turned out pretty nicely. I wish I had a 1/2" crafting hole punch so that I didn't have to use stupid manicure scissors to cut out the pictures. Again, the lack of webspace and cameras sucks, cause I would love to share. I am going to the thrift store tomorrow, to look for some old 45's to make smaller LP bowls for my secret santa at work. All this crafting makes me happy. :)
