Dum Dum wrapper purse and other projects!
I was inspired to make a purse out of Dum Dum wrappers after seeing one in the memories. However, I usually am not great with following tutorials and like to design things with my own style... so that's what I did. I used clear packing tape to make three sheets of wrappers and then hand stitched them together into a purse with that string that's used to make friendship bracelets. Then I reinforced it with extra tape. I attached a rainbow striped ribbon for a handle and then used an old nylon vest for the lining, using a hot glue gun to secure it inside. It even has a zipper pocket in it! I also used velcro to close the purse.

Inside:

...Also, I made some earrings. The second pair is for my mom's birthday on Friday.

...Finally, I thought I would share some of my old crafts that I've had in my room for ages...
After September 11, my friends and I made a lot of these pins. Someone has probably shared these on here before because they were quite common:

Corsage: When I was in 6th grade, I took cotillion. At our Holly Ball dance, we had to have holiday corsages. Instead of buying one, my mom and I put one together with fake flowers, leaves, and ribbon... and it is still lasting today, so I could use it any time I want to!

Then when I was in 7th grade, I took a metalworks class. Our final project was to put together a clock. Somehow I broke the actual clock part of it, so it doesn't work anymore, but this is what it looks like...

Well that's it for now... I'll post some more later! <3 Laura
