star earrings, felt / stitched / beaded kitty pin, and dangly earrings



i made the stars with bugle and seed beads from a pattern in this earring book.  the pin is a variation on the star pattern that i came up with.  i thought with only two points it looked like a cat.  i put sequins for the eyes.  the long purple earrings i made with wire and amethyst beads. these first earrings i modified the pattern to make them longer.  i think i'm going to try a "shooting star" pattern too.  while i was making the long ones the other day i thought i could easily change the pattern and make 3-d shapes.



the bugles look black but they're actually dark dark brown





pink and baby blue felt glued together and stitched.  the cat was stiched on after it was made.



lots of movement to these.
