craftgrrl | Monster Box! :D

Yesterday I got a small portable sewing box to take to work with me when I'm making monsters. The plastic bags aren't working anymore. :P

All of the sewing boxes at the fabric store looked like a garden puked on them, or that they were all made for grandma's (no offense to any grandma's reading this) :) So I picked the best shape that I liked and the inside color of. I didn't get a photo of the 'before', but some of the original fabric is peeking in one pic.

Part of the original fabric still showing. It was a hideous yellow, orange, purple, blue flower pattern that offended the eyes. *heh*

With the first coat of fabric paint. Good stuff, eh?

Now I have a portable sewing box for all my monster making supplies! YAY!

The green is pearlescent/metallic and totally completes the 'monster feel' to it. ;)
