Augh!
Ok. I began making a little purselet thingy for a friend of mine, and disaster struck. It was my first attempt at lining a purse using the "put right sides together, sew, then turn inside out" method... Everything went well enough, but then I turned it inside out and fit the lining in..... and now, for some reason there is about a quarter of an inch of lining hanging out over the top of the bag, even though the bottoms of the lining and the bag are flush with each other... (I wish I had a pic, but my camera is being pissy)
Can some crafty girl out there tell me what I'm doing wrong? And it's not that I cut the lining pieces too big, because I made sure they were identical to the bag pieces themselves.
Help please!
And thanks soooo much, in advance.
