So Rachel, what did you do this Monday afternoon?

This isn't originally what it was supposed to look like at all. It was simply supposed to be those bugles and those seed beads and one long ladder-stitched bracelet, but then my imagination got the better of me and I played the 'what-if-I-did-this' game. I wanted to make it a choker, but I didn't have enough of the purple miracle beads.
I don't know; I'm pretty undecided as to whether I like this. Do you guys have any suggestions as to what I could change or modify? I'd like your opinions.
Also, is a ladder stitch the same thing as a criss-cross stitch? Or is the one where you cross two needles through a bead called something different entirely? I'm trying to work up my terminology so I don't sound foolish ^.^
Okay, now it's time to use your imagination:

What could I do with these? They are those rocks that you put at the bottom of your fish tank to make it look uber cool... Problem is, I don't have any fish! Nor do I even have a tank! They don't have any holes for beading with them (which is only to be expected), so that's somewhat out of the question.
Do you guys have any creative//crafty uses for them? Right now, I've got them in the bottom of a glass globe candle holder.
Heh... me and my dollar store impulse buys ^.^
