These are two baby blanket's I knit.
The first is the Big Bad Baby Blanket from Stitch N'Bitch.
I obviously ran out of yarn a little over half way through the first one and wasn't able to get the same dye lot.
I promise it's not this obvious in person though. You can only tell if you hold it up to the light.
At any rate I don't feel comfortable giving this one as a gift. I will give it to charity. Oh well, it was my first ever blanket, can't be perfect.

And a close up of the middle.

This one I used the general dimensions of the BBBB and the idea of the seed stitch border. However, I made up a basketweave pattern for the middle. I like the way it turned out alot, except the sides are a bit wonky because I cast off too loose. I wonder if there's a way to block acrylic.
