help converting knit pattern to crochet

craftgrrlhello! amidst the yuletide cramming, i found a great "Hallowig" with a knit pattern here and i'd love to make one. the thing is, i don't know how to knit, and i don't know how to read knit patterns and convert them to crochet. anyone have any ideas how to turn this into a crochet creation? thanks! :)
