craftgrrlI am going to make myself a messenger bag. I was wondering if anyone had tips/suggestions/patterns/tutorials? Especially as I am a guy (meaning that an ladies sized bag will be... less fitting).
Also, working with old leather belts... I have a Janome sewing machine (I have no idea of the model, it's my moms and she's had it for a number of years), for all I know it's a pretty good workhorse, but is it safe to try sewing a leather strap onto a bag?
