New face

Hi! I've been lurking for a while, but never posted anything. I found you all when I was trying to make a t-shirt purse (the memories are amazing!!) but have been around ever since. I love all the new ideas and creative gifts all you lvoely people put up. IT's so inspiring. I find a new craft to try when I gret out of my dinky dorm all the time.

So I've been playing with my new sewing machine for a while, and I'm still not very good at it but hopefully I'll get better with time and more experience. But I just finished my purse which I'm relatively pleased with, and I wanted to put up pictures.

I'm also putting up pictures of my DS cozy. I need to make a little strappy thing for it for around my wrist, but I don't really take my DS anywhere right now.

That fabric is leftover from my toga. Hah. I like it so much though, yay polka dots!

Purse:
It's not very smooth because I am in a dorm, and I do not have an iron or anything. :(

It's all wonky because my sewing machine hated my thread or something. but I still love my dopey little purse
I'll try again some other time.
