art portfolio

i'd like to make a portfolio case for my sister. i'm going for something kind of like this: http://www.jerrysartarama.com/art-supply/catalogs/0065738000000
except i would like to personalize it by adding an inside divider, an outer large pocket on the back, and a small pocket for supplies in the front. she mostly likes to paint and i'm more into drawing so i don't know too much about organizing painting supplies. what kind of divisions should i include in the front pocket? or would it be better to just make a general pocket that she can dump everything into?
