Feb. 2nd, 2006 04:57 pmI have a ton of rad vintage cotton fabrics that have been hanging around my craft room for far too long. They're beautiful and kitschy and I love them so, but I've always been hesitant to use them; many of my sewing projects tend to be a bit overambitious, and I was scared of ruining the treasures of my hoard.
Until now! I'm so happy! This was my first successful go at making a fabric cuff bracelet - all my previous attempts fell into that overambitious theme and ended up as total wrecks. It took me this long to figure out that simpler is better -- a little bit of ruffley lace and a violet button show off the vintage turquoise chintz to perfection!

I love making new friends!
Feel free to add me if you like, or just swing by to say Hi!
