i've made a nice card for my boyfriend



front/back. i painted most of it, except for the ribbon on the top and bottom and the heart, which was cut out from a cool design i saw in an old magazine.

found a cool picture, attached it, and outlined it. it sort of goes with the theme of the note, but really i just liked the pose of the guy and the B&W element. i also 'color-washed' the picture with watered down acrylic black paint to make it more weathered. also added a picture of us, and put ribbon around it. it was hell, and i don't think i'll be doing that again

finally, i sewed up a nice envelope for the card out of strips of matching cardstock (his name is daniel james), i looove the front. coffee and caramel colors are tasty!
